The War of Independence was a type of Robot Wars competition fought between competitors from the UK and the United States. In total two full competitions were held, one broadcast as part of The Fourth Wars and one as part of Extreme Warriors: Season 1. The second season of Extreme Warriors featured an almost identical competition, but it was instead called the International Championship. There was also a single battle event, broadcast as part of the International League Championship in Series 3, the only one with an American winner.
