Meriam-Webster probably did a survey and found out that like is the most misused word in the English language. I actually have no idea if they did. But that doesn't make this article very good, now does it?

  • A Facebook like
  • Likes cost nothing to make and you can give out infinite likes to other people. Many would claim that this makes a "like" totally worthless. But the rest of the population remains totally oblivious to this fact and works desperately to achieve these likes.
  • Like is a vampire that is nice but not so nice if you bite his Raga man outfit. He may eat you if you do so.
  • Like, oh my Gosh, this is totally the best page EVER. Hey Jenny, let's go to the store! I need to get shoes. No no like, I NEED them! Oh my Gosh, I totally saw this pair and in the window and OH - MY - GOSH they would look SO GOOD on me!

  • Like is an action on Facebook. It allows you to show your approval of a Status, Picture, Page or Comment. So far, you can not "like" a "like". Like can be used as a verb or a noun in this case. There does not exist a dislike at the moment, but it has been heavily requested. Liking something often makes that object eligible to appear in your Notifications even if you did not comment on it or are not tagged in it.
