  • Knuckles the Echidna, Captain Plunder and a group of other pirates were transported to Tantaragor by Ekkletos remotely using the Tantaragor Idol in an attempt to catch three Tantaror heretics, followers of Orkym-Ro. Once Knuckles helped Ekkletos find the heretics, Ekkletos returned him and the pirates to Mobius. Sonic and Tails were briefly transported to Tantaragor when a young Tantaror boy wanted to keep them as pets. The young Tantaror created various locations for them (a maze, a mountaintop and a cave), as well as several illusory monsters to fight (a Minotaur and a tribe of Yetis), before being forced to send them back to Mobius by its father.
