Jay Christopher Esparza started in the gaming industry with Tachyon Studios (Oakhurst, CA). There he worked on Blood & Magic (1996), Fallout (Interplay 1997), and two unpublished titles. In 1997 he joined Sierra On-Line (Oakhurst, CA), where he worked on Lighthouse (1998), Collier's Encyclopedia (1998), Police Quest: SWAT 2 (1998), and J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth. In 1999 Jay transferred to Berkeley Systems (Berkeley, CA), to art direct on Orcs: Revenge of the Ancient. The title was never published. He worked on Rock & Roll Trivia for PC. Jay was promoted to Art Manager in 1999 but soon left the company (April 2000).
