However, the prison keeps the terrorists from aging for the next several centuries. One day, on his deathbed, Zordon discovers that Repulsa has escaped, and is heading for the nearest planet, Earth, to reign down terror. Zordon has his assist droid, Alpha 5, convert his body into a hologram so he can live forever. They head to Earth, and set up base in the desert. Zordon has Alpha find some teenagers courageous enough to defend Earth as the Power Rangers, an ancient order of guardians that Zordon started back before he imprisoned Repulsa.
