Ecology and ethology: A very cunning and exclusiment egg eater, the Neoviraptor lives in mated pairs. The male and female exchange information on their environment (availability of other birds' nests presence and eventual dangers etc.) and adults teach to their offspring the art of stealth and handling eggs. Neoviraptor imitates the singing or the cries of other birds, attracted by the eggs.
