Etymology: Contraction of neo (new) and Oviraptor (egg thief (related to theropod dinosaurs of the same name)). The species name refers to the spout (rhynchus) very short (Brevi). Cousin of the 21st century: Common Raven (Corvus corax), opportunistic species and very intelligent. Height: about 50 cm high. Morphology: This crow is devoid of wings. Its legs are long and muscular, and has a very elongated neck. Its high and short beak (nutcracker-shaped) is very useful to overcome the eggshells of other birds on which it mainly feeds.
