The 1959–60 Chicago Black Hawks season was the Hawks' thirty-fourth season in the NHL, and the club was coming off of a third place finish in 1958–59, as they finished the with a club record 28 wins, and tying a club record with 69 points, and earned their first playoff berth since 1953.
