The Majin had awoken a day later, and this time the doctor had been there to see it. “GAAH!” Art yelled out in pain, as Stormy’s hug threatened to reopen his wounds and posssibly break his back. “Ah!” the doctor said, leaping back, “sorry, sorry! It wasn’t my fault, I swear!” “Err....” Art began, before before he could continue, Sid awoke, rubbing his head. “Where the hell am I-?!” “But I’m about half-full, I guess,” Knave said contemplatively.

“Where the hell am I-?!” “It was him!” Stormy said frantically, seizing the navigator and ripping him from his bed, throwing him at Art, “blame him!” “Jeez, calm down,” Art said, offhandedly kicking Sid back from where he came, “I wasn’t mad anyway.” “Oh, thank god,” Stormy gasped, collapsing to the floor, “thank god.” She suddenly straightened. “Can I get you anything? Anything at al-” At that moment, the entire clinic shook, as though caught in a massive earthquake. Stormy and Art jerked their heads toward what appeared to be the source of the commotion.... Knave. “You can get some food,” Art said, a sweatdrop falling down the back of his head. “Aaaaahh!” Knave yawned, leaning back on his bed, rubbing his now large stomach, “that was a nice brunch!” Brunch?! the various inhabitants of the island who had donated food screamed in their heads, looking at the pirate boy with a mixture of fear and amazement, he single-handedly cleared out half our food stores! “But I’m about half-full, I guess,” Knave said contemplatively. ONLY THAT?! the townspeople gasped mentally, their faces slamming against the ground, their bodies upside down. “Reminds me,” Sid said thickly through a mouthful of pudding as he and Art chowed down as well, though at a much slower pace, “we really need to get a good cook soon. It’s too annoying to pick up non-perishables at every island and hope they last.” “How’s our food doing?” Art asked. “We have ENOUGH,” Sid replied, pursing his lips, “but barely. Just enough to get us to the next island.” “Next island?” Knave piped in, eyes shining with excitement. “The Isle of Flowers,” Sid replied, “no one knows much about it, but a lot of people say its a paradise, so there’s probably a good bit of food there.” “If it’s a paradise how come no one knows much about it?” D’Artagnan inquired. “Everyone who goes there never comes back,” Sid said simply, “not a single one.” “Oh.... oh my,” the Majin remarked akwardly. “AWESOME!” Knave yelled, leaping up from his bed, “let’s go guys! We’re gonna be the FIRST to come out ali-” At that moment, blood spurted from several of his wounds, and he dropped to the floor again, “-ve...” “Idiot!” Stormy yelled, running up to him, “I told you not to move so much!” Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
