However, she is best known for playing Miss Hart in twenty two epsidoes of Swizzlewick in 1964.
- Nancie Jackson (28th April, 1921 - 18th January, 1977) appeared on Coronation Street in July 1963 as Miss Read, Elsie Tanner's personnel officer at Miami Modes. She appeared in numerous episodes of Z Cars as well as making one off appearances in, amongst many other series, Maigret, Sizzlewick, R.3, The Wednesday Play, United!, Doctor Who, Angels, Out of the Unknown, Colditz, Upstairs, Downstairs and Dr. Finlay's Casebook. Among her radio work, which included parts in The Archers and Mrs. Dale's Diary, she made several appearances on Children's Hour in the late 1950s.
