Arica Pradeux was an alias used by Mara Jade on Chibias. Using the recognition code of Hapspir Barrini, she posed as an envoy from a Grand Admiral while investigating Governor Egron's actions against the slicer Zakarisz Ghent. A subsequent check into the computer files of the Imperial Palace showed there was no Arica Pradeux, but there was an Alec Pradeux who had been an advisor to Emperor Palpatine. Jade then admitted that while she was in no way related to this Pradeux, she did occasionally use his name to open doors for her.
