The story was the account of an adventure that Holmes and John Watson — names Conan Doyle gave to two non-fictional people — had with the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Benny. Benny claimed that Conan Doyle had characterised Ace perfectly, but that he wasn't so spot-on with Benny herself. She was noncommittal as to whether the author had done the Doctor justice. Benny also said that she didn't "remember half of these things happening" — implying that the author had taken some literary licence with the facts. (PROSE: All-Consuming Fire)
