  • Despite having many interesting attributes about them, stop signs are also one of the least intelligent beings and show absolutely no signs of recognizing the outside world at all. Stop sign meat is very common in Canada and Antarctica for its juicy taste and convenience in making Lollipops. For example, a stop sign may appear at an intersection as a car approaches, yet there may be no reason for the vehicle to stop in the first place. Despite its many setbacks and problems, the stop sign is still obeyed by most motorists for reasons largely unknown.
  • Just a stop sign that stops things.
  • In 1986, Emmett Brown, who was suffering from amnesia, crashed his steam time car into a sign of this kind at a T-junction in Hill Valley, leaving the post buckled and the sign knocked down. The towing service Lee Bros. Towing & Repair towed the steam time car to their yard, believing it had been abandoned, leaving a company flyer — which was found by Doc, Marty and Jennifer — attached to the STOP sign (with what appeared to be a piece of chewing gum) to let the owner know where the vehicle was towed.
  • The cover image of the January 1953 issue of Incredible Tales of Scientific Wonder had a stop sign in it. (DS9: "Far Beyond the Stars")
  • The Stop Sign is a non-premium decoration which improves the Player's Obedience rating. After reaching level 22 it can be purchased for $385.
