DK Island: Jungle Japes is a stage appearing in Super Smash Bros. Melee and later as a Melee returning stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. This stage is set above a fast-moving river with three wooden ledges used as platforms. The one in the center is the largest with a cabin containing Cranky's silhouette where he walks back and forth. There is also some test tubes and a beaker in the cabin. Sometimes Cranky is rocking on his chair. The two others are smaller, but higher elevated platforms. Klaptraps also occasionally hop out of the river to attack the fighters. The stage's music is a remix of Jungle Hijinxs' music.
