Having lost her sister to a vile assault of the worst kind from an arrogant and crass Aquilonian, Shamsi came to fear and detest Aquilonians, thinking that they were cruel and violent. Lost in the darkness of despair and driven by a need for vengeance, Shamsi found refuge in prayers. She prayed to the only God she knew, Set, but preferred to call her god THE ONE. Less attached to Set and more attached to The One God, she found interest in tomes that spoke of other gods, Mitra, Crom, Zeus, and others...
