Bendu Hopeful was a title given to Force-sensitive individuals, no older than the age of thirteen, who were under consideration for training to become a Bendu Knight. When an individual became a Bendu Hopeful, they met with the Council of Priests, the governing body of the Bendu Order, for evaluation. Following the Council's evaluation, the Bendu High Priest would make the final decision as to whether they would become a Bendu Apprentice. If the Hopeful was accepted as an Apprentice, the High Priest would instruction them as to where, when, and with whom they would begin their training.
