| - James Cox is a former NASCAR driver from Radford, VA. He competed in twenty-two Nextel Cup Series events in his career, spanning from 1969 to 1972. Because of a part-time schedule, Cox never finished well in points and never garnered a top-ten finish. His career best was a 13th at Richmond in 1971.
