Antonio finds a starved Mooger who tells him that he has run away from the Xandred’s Ship after being sick of his companion being abused by the stronger Nighloks. Feeling sorry for him, Antonio takes him back to the Shiba House and tries to get him a job. After Jayden refuses to help due to the fact that he is an enemy, Antonio attempts to prove Jayden wrong about the Mooger. However, after nearly burning to death, the Mooger feels that he is a lost cause, believing he is doomed to fail. Antonio encourages him not to give up. The next day, Jayden discovers that the Black Box and its Disk are gone along with the Mooger. Remembering the Mooger's love for seafood salad, Antonio lures him out with it and is shocked that the Mooger has stolen the Black Box.

However, after nearly burning to death, the Mooger feels that he is a lost cause, believing he is doomed to fail. Antonio encourages him not to give up. The next day, Jayden discovers that the Black Box and its Disk are gone along with the Mooger. Remembering the Mooger's love for seafood salad, Antonio lures him out with it and is shocked that the Mooger has stolen the Black Box. While telling Antonio another sob story, the Mooger sucker punches him before using the Black Box to turn into Super Mooger. Super Mooger reveals that he has used Antonio to steal the Black Box, and he adds on that he never liked Antonio's fish. Enraged, Antonio transforms into Gold Samurai Ranger and with Red Samurai Ranger fights the Super Mooger. The two are no match for Super Mooger until Gold Samurai Ranger uses the Shark Attack Disk to assume Shark Attack Mode. With his new found power, he and Red Samurai Ranger are able to slay Super Mooger and retrieve the Black Box. After the fight, Antonio is still disappointed that he believed Super Mooger along with him insulting fish. Jayden cheers him up by requesting grilled fish and enjoying it, raising Antonio's spirits.
