The Gaduridos presidential election was held in August of 3982, in conjunction with the early general elections which had been called by SDP president Luke Dunsmore. Despite the presence of six candidates, the election was a landslide victory for incumbent Dunsmore. Most of of the other parties performed miserably; the Conservative Union did not even earn enough votes for a second round.
