The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference is a book written by Malcolm Gladwell, and published in 2000. Gladwell dedicates his entire third chapter (44 pages) to a study of what made Sesame Street popular and successful. He compares the development model with Blue's Clues, a similar children's program with what he calls the "Educational Virus" and describes its "stickiness," a term applied to ideas or products that are found attractive or interesting by others which will grow exponentially for some time.
