At some point afterwards Kar'ukan transferred his flag to a Jem'Hadar dreadnought carrier. (STO missions: "Second Wave", "Boldly They Rode") The final fate of BC 68 is unclear. It may have been one of the battlecruisers destroyed when the Federation retook Deep Space 9 in "Boldly They Rode", or it may have survived and returned to the Gamma Quadrant with Loriss, Eraun, and the female Changeling.
