Cassander IV of Diadochia (7 May 641- 28 June 670) was the Diadochian Emperor for about a year from 669 to 670. He was the eldest son of Emperor Anastasius I and his first wife Fabia Eudokia. Cassander was crowned by his father as co-emperor on the 20 February 542, when he was a mere child. Shortly after that he was betrothed to his cousin Gregoria, daughter of his father's first cousin. Around the same time his mother died and his father married his niece Martina Fabia, causing a scandal for the incestuous nature of the union.

Around the same time his mother died and his father married his niece Martina Fabia, causing a scandal for the incestuous nature of the union. Cassander and Gregoria were finally married in 658. The couple's first child Cassander V was born in 659. The couple had two further children.
