- Lieutenant Charles H. Logan was one of four chief engineers to serve aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2364. He was preceded by Michael Argyle and proceded by Leland T. Lynch. His brief tenure was marred by an antagonistic relationship with conn officer Geordi La Forge, who would ironically become chief engineer of the vessel himself in 2365 when the two disagreed over who should be in command of the Enterprise during a combat situation. When La Forge decided to separate the saucer, Logan was placed in command of the saucer section. (TNG episode: "The Arsenal of Freedom")
- Charles Logan was Vice President of the United States during the administration of President John Keeler. He became President pursuant to the 25th Amendment after Keeler was grievously wounded when Air Force One crashed during Day 4.
- During his presidency, Logan is best remembered for passing the masturbation proclamation, which allowed people to publicly masterbate in Congress. Logan also passed the Bieber-Diever act, which banned Justin Bieber from ever entering the country, saving many lives from having to deal with his horrible music. His downfall occurred when he attempted to aid Dr. Robotnik by bringing in 3 giant Weegees into the U.S. His plans were foiled by Jack Bauer when three of his friends were turned into Weegee's, including former President David Palmer. The left decided to then cover up what really happened and stated that Logan smuggled in Sintox Nerve gas into the country to make him look even worse, and that was how they made Season 5 of 24.
