LIGHT'S REACH - The Imperial Tribunal is reporting that a recent legislation proposing the formation of a "Council of Nobles" has been universally approved by all Noble Houses. The legislation seeks to create an assembly similar to the Imperial Council that existed under Talus Kahar XIV, except this one aims to create a place for the Faction Leaders of the six Noble Houses to gather and discuss politics, law, and current events, should the need arise. It would also provide a reason for the Faction Leaders to gather on vote on resolutions to issues brought up by another Noble House.

Though the "Council of Nobles" (Officially titled as the "Noble Council" or the "High Council", but quickly becoming known informally as "The Council of Six") is second to the political and administrative power of the Prince of the Blood and the Crown Regent, the "Council of Six" are expected to be able to vote on a number of issues that will ultimately change the direction that Fastheld takes in the future, while providing a forum for discussion between Dukes and Duchesses alike on whatever topic they feel needs to be discussed.
