The Divine Economics is a framework for ‘the study of economics and religion in each other’s perspective’ developed by Dr.Syed Nisar Hussain Hamdani.The foundations of the Framework are laid down on standard rational choice theory and the role of religiosity as defined in the Divine religions is incorporated in the scientific model. The Divine Economic Framework comprises of a theoretical model, an econometric and empirical model, variety of religiosity scales, a set of faith-based questionnaires, some revised definitions in economics, some testable propositions and a dataset “Religiosity and Economics Survey 2000”. Subsequently, the framework was elaborated in working papers and a series of papers in scientific journals or presented at international forums including Harvard University USA
