"少年と魔法のロボット VOCALOID BEST,NEW RECORDINGS" (Shounen to Mahou no Robot VOCALOID BEST,NEW RECORDINGS) is 40meterP's first VOCALOID best album, and his seventh album overall. It contains 16 tracks, all sung by Hatsune Miku and GUMI. The tracks comes with new recording by The Rainbow Orchestra (a total of 12 participating musicians). Many of 40meterP's classics such as "Karakuri Pierrot", "Do Re Mi Fa Rondo" and "Torinoko City" will be revived by the full band. One of the 4 new tracks "Shounen to Mahou no Robot" will be broadcasted for the first time live on Japan's national television channel NHK. The famous Japanese musician and actor Fukuyama Masaharu will be participating in this album as the recording and mix engineer. The last three songs are also new tracks.
