- The Freak was Crow's first attempt at making a TimeSplitter. They have a striking resemblance to the Hybrid Mutant due to the fact that both are half-Human and half-TimeSplitter. In the story level You Genius, U-Genix, the only effective way of killing them is by use of the Injector which causes them to explode, dealing damage to everyone in a close radius. The Freak can be killed with bullets as well, but they'd have to be shot in the head a few times. They can create bursts of energy from their body.

- Freak is a single by DJ TRAKZ & Amara vs Bart Simpson. It is the lead single from Simpson's first EP. Amara suggested that TRAKZ produce the song and during recording Amara and TRAKZ started dating. A year after the song was released, the song was mashed up with Faces single "Pull Me Close" in a mashup called "Freak Me Close", the mashup went viral due to the mashup pointing out the instrumental similarities.

- Freak or Mutant (as fans call him) is an unnamed zombie puppet, Made from wood yet the unstable spell and ritual made him pure flesh and suffering. He has the soul of Matt Deary. Matt Deary is one of the former assistants and one of the many failed puppet experiments by Dr. Magrew. In an attempt to destroy his failure, Dr. Magrew set Matt on fire in the woods and left him there to rot. His remains are later discovered by Jane Magrew while she is in the woods.

- Freak and Moof are derogatory terms for a FAYZ citizen with supernatural powers. The term was coined by Zil during a freak hate spree. It has, since then, been one of the most common words in the FAYZ. The known freaks of the FAYZ include: Some of the freaks received their powers through physical alteration, such as Orc, Drake, Cigar, and later Taylor (although she was already a freak). None of the freaks kept their powers when the barrier came down, except Taylor as her body had been altered physically.
- Freak was a derogatory slang term used to illustrate someone who had different attributes from other people. In an alternate timeline 1944, Sal called the Na'kuhl Ghrath a "freak". (ENT: "Storm Front") In 2267, James T. Kirk called Spock a "devil-eared freak" to make him angry and counter the effect of the Omicron pod plants. (TOS: "This Side of Paradise" ) In 2268, Spock was similarly called a "pointed-ear freak" by Achilles on 892-IV. - The Freak first appeared as a background character in [[:w:c:imagecomics:|Spawn #33]], in which he saved the Violator from drowning. After running away, he later reappeared, apparently being attacked by a gang of thugs. Spawn rescues him and is later convinced by The Freak to help him kill Dr DeLorean and avenge the death of his family. After doing this for him it is discovered that The Freak is in fact insane and that Spawn has been tricked into murdering The Freak's own therapist. The Freak reappears again later with a gang of street thugs who manage to overpower and apparently kill Spawn when they capture him in the Deadzone.
