I didn't see anything about this on any other pages and I haven't seen any precedence, so I thought it'd be best to ask here: What's this wiki's stance on posting information on SW mods? I assume you guys don't have articles on mods because many never get past the ideas stage, and none are canonical, but I'd just like to know if that's really the case or not. You could always just restrict it to mods that have been released, that way you don't get random newbies flooding the wiki with "hay guyz i'm going 2 make a ster warz mod 4 plz help i can maek teh website!" junk. That's what ModDB is for! Of course, I'm in no position to tell you how to run your wiki either.

I personally help out with SW Total Annihilation, a mod for an old RTS game which we have since ported to the free Spring engine. Not that I'm trying to advertise or anything ;) Either way, I would also like to thank you guys for this resource, since we've used it numerous times for reference when making new units. I've personally lost far too many hours just reading every interesting article I find. Keep up the good work :) —Unsigned comment by 68.72.33.58 (talk • contribs). * The key is notability; as long as someting is notable and known enough, it's deserving of an article. The majority of mods of course are not notable in the slightest, and so are not included. --MarcK [talk] 10:08, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
