It happens to all of us sometimes: you go traveling in the Shadowlands and some monster gets the drop on you and eats you. While your soul gets a new body at reclaim, what happens to the rest of your body? On Rubi-Ka it self destructs and fades away, but nanobots are a bit wonky in SL and sometimes things don't work out. So, from time to time, travelers will run across these bits of adventurers that are still stuck in the gullet of a horrible beast. Knowing that all adventurers are just as much cybernetic as they are flesh and bone you can try and pull an implant out of these half digested body parts and get the random chance for something or nothing. With a little more finese though you can always get something out of those half digested body parts, but at the cost of a Bio-Communitor.

  • It happens to all of us sometimes: you go traveling in the Shadowlands and some monster gets the drop on you and eats you. It should be noted that while the tradeskill kit will give you the sanctified item, tradeskilling the item will instantly result in a random implant of the type that comes from the part. In all types of this process, the Bio-Communitor is Consumed. This process is also performed many times my unsuspecting Doctors, Traders, and Engineers when making Blood Plasma out of parts found in the Shadowlands, and they lose their bio-communitor to the part since the half digested torso looks exactly like a monster part. This costly error can be avoided by putting the bag with the parts in it into list mode so the name is always shown.
