Moonraker is the third novel by British author Ian Fleming, based on the fictional British Secret Service agent Commander James Bond, first published by Jonathan Cape on April 7, 1955. The novel's name was used in 1979 for the eleventh official film in the EON Productions Bond franchise and the fourth to star Roger Moore as James Bond. However, the story of the film was significantly modified so as to take advantage of the late 1970s 'Space Craze'. Consequently the film tells a very different story, and was subsequently novelised by Christopher Wood.

- Moonraker est le onzième film de EON Productions et le quatrième des sept films où Roger Moore incarne James Bond. Réalisé par Lewis Gilbert, également le réalisateur de On ne vit que deux fois (1967) et L'espion qui m'aimait (1977).
- MOONRAKER is an Autobot weapons tester, though he was once a simple astronomer. Long years of experimental weapons exploding in his face seem to have rattled his processor a bit, as he takes far more pleasure in blowing up Decepticons than is strictly healthy. Not that one could tell at first glance: He seems quite reasonable in casual conversation, and he tests his weapons where there won't be (too many) innocent casualties, typically in geosynchronus orbit around Cybertron. In any case, he performs a valuable service for the Autobot military, proving the viability of many unconventional weapons... and more importantly, satisfying the curiosity of mad scientists like Wheeljack. It's a good thing Moonraker is as tough as he is, or he'd be space dust long before now.>
- The novel is based on one of Britain's 1950s fears, the German V2 Rocket invented by Wernher von Braun during World War II. More of those fears included Soviet communism, the re-emergence of Nazism, and the "threat from within" posed by both ideologies. Fleming examines Englishness, and the novel shows the virtues and strength of England. The novel was followed by Diamonds Are Forever the following year.
- Moonraker ist im Film Moonraker ein Raumpendler, welcher von der Drax Cooperation hergestellt wird. Im Roman ist Moonraker eine Atomrakete, welche auf England gerichtet ist. Siehe auch:

- A skilled fighter in jet mode, Moonraker believes the key to victory is a single well executed attack rather than several near success attacks. In robot mode he has arm mounted lasers that fold under his wings when in jet mode and carries a small pulse blaster. Although not wanting to work in a group, Moonraker gets along fine with his fellow Decepticons when not on a mission.
- Moonraker (1979) is the eleventh spy film in the James Bond series, and the fourth to star Roger Moore as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. The third and final film in the series to be directed by Lewis Gilbert, it co-stars Lois Chiles, Michael Lonsdale, Corinne Cléry, and Richard Kiel. Bond investigates the theft of a space shuttle, leading him to Hugo Drax, the owner of the shuttle's manufacturing firm. Along with space scientist Dr. Holly Goodhead, Bond follows the trail from California to Venice, Rio de Janeiro, and the Amazon rainforest, and finally intoouter space to prevent a plot to wipe out the world population and to re-create humanity with a master race.
- The 11th James Bond film, starring Roger Moore. Bond is sent to investigate Drax industries after one of their shuttles is hijacked in mid-transit, which turns out to be part of an Evil Plan to exterminate the world population and replace it with "ideal" specimens. The movie was blatantly made to cash in on the science fiction craze that Star Wars had started. Jaws returns as the only henchman to make a second appearance in the series, but his role was changed from "vicious killer" to "Wile E Coyote and The Road Runner".
