Pride of the Core's Ground forces also known as Grand Army of the Core or GAC is the elite army for Pride of the Core's Security forces and Military forces. Of course just a Governmental faction couldn't keep the peace so Grand Army of the Core was created. At there start in 27,834 BBY they were the best Soldiers in the galaxy, and even when the Galactic Republic setup its Grand Army for the first time, Pride of the Core's troops were the elite. Of course over time, GAC slowly lost its position as the Elite of the Elite, and eventually lost that title to the the Grand Army of the Republic. Phil wanted something different so instead of classifying the entire Military force of Pride of the Core with the GAC title, only Ground forces were allowed to have this title. The Royal Navy of the Core was Pride of the Core's only other military faction, and both were excellent in what they made to do. GAC was issued in the Hutt war between Pride of the Core and the Hutts. The Hutts belived that Pride of the Core was going to destroy them when it got an army so to instill that it wouldn't happen the Hutts all formed an alliance and declared a war on Pride of the Core. In the First Year of the War nothing much happened, only a few battles on Sullest. Yet when GAC was created it all changed.
