On May 22, 2007, Olympic speed-skater Apolo Anton Ohno and Julianne Hough were announced as the winners; singer Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson placed second and boxer Laila Ali and Maks Chmerkovskiy placed third. Apollo Anton Ohno and Joey Fatone, returned to take part in the all-star season. Fatone was partnered with Kym Johnson and voted off during the second week the competition. Ohno was partnered with Karina Smirnoff and was eliminated during the ninth week.
