- George Wallace (b. 1952) is an American comedian and actor. He played Sheriff Wyner in The Ladykillers and the Mayor of Gotham City in Batman Forever. Other credits include guest spots on Scrubs, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Seinfeld. Wallace appeared with Elmo on Hollywood Squares on April 15, 2004, along with other celebrities including Hulk Hogan, Joan Rivers, Steve Schirripa, and Alec Baldwin. Wallace, Elmo, and Baldwin talk to each other at the end of the show during the credits to promote the next Hollywood Squares game.

After Harries' experiment went wrong and killed him, George sedated Catherine Harries as she had been hurt and was distressed. He then phoned the police, Sergeant Baker and Inspector Ian Stratford came and George told them of recent events.

This was because his mind was under the control of the Democrats at the time. George Wallace was shot at a mall in Maryland, and had an experience with the baby jesus. He renounced his views on segragation, became a Republican, and had a race change so he could see beyond color. The band Lynyrd Skynyrd sang a song about him at the time, about how cool it was that George decided to switch Republican, and everybody laughed and sang songs, and held hands in a Not Gay way. Sonny Bono even exclaimed his love for George Wallace in the movie "Hairspray." After being governer, he became a real fine comedian. Many don't know that Wallace had a talent for telling jokes, but the man did. He even had a part in the movie "Friday" with Chris Tucker and Ice Cube.
