It was released in January 2008 and managed to reach the top 3 in every worldwide chart except Asia here it peaked at #29. It's UK peak was #2, making it Aftershock's highest charting album after Echoes charted at #1. The majority of the tracks were recorded in mid-late November 07 til Mid December. early tracks from the writing and recording sessions were done so without the creative involvement from Becca Hayworth who was on maternity leave from the band due to the imment arrival of her son. Early sessions without Hayworth yeilded songs which would eventually be released as stand-alone single. These being Time Is Not The Enemy, Music Matters and Hypnotik along with a cover of Freddie Mercury's Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow along with accompanying B-Sides Midnight Calling, Remain The Same, Mark One, Fooling Nobody and an unreleased song called Tonight Is The Last Time. Although some songs like Hypnotik, Music Matters, Midnight Calling and Tonight Is The Last Tim showed promise it was agreed that they lacked Hayworth's spark and work halted until Hayworth returned. On Hayworth's return the penned Crime Of Passion, State Of Play, Paris By Night, It Could Never Happen and Now You Know which remains unreleased amongst others.
