Total production of electricity was 3.35 TWh in 2012, while district heating was 491 GWh. Trondheim Energi has 82,000 power customers, 93,000 grid customers and 2,400 district heating customers. Trondheim Water, a subsidiary of Trondheim Energi, is responsible for watter supply in Trondheim and Klæbu with 93,000 customers.
