Andy Macintyre hails from Chicago, Illinois, born on the south side and raised in several local suburbs. Rather than subject himself to the mindless doping of video games, he honed his musical tastes and style on the acoustic and electric guitar. Growing up primarily on Blues/Rock and Pop/Funk, he was forced to leave for Austin with his family, including his little brother Mike, when his father was transferred. This change paid off. At first he was apprehensive about the change, but soon found opportunity in the exciting Austin music community. Immediately, he joined several bands (about 9) and playing around the local area, and outside in other cities.
