The Royal Naval Service was founded in 2837 on Sivad by act of King Franklin I, a few short years after Sivadians regained space capabilities following the Kretonian Occupation. Since that time, the Royal Naval Service has developed into an elite and respected defensive force dedicated to the task of keeping the Sivadian flame of independence alive. Now once again under royal command, the Royal Naval Service aims in the years to come to continue to set a high standard for the honour of its officers and the proficiency of its fighting forces.
