| - The Dorvain General Election, 1923 was held on the 27th May 1923 to elect the 31st Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dorvain. Each of the 125 parliamentary constituencies elected one Member of Parliament to Parliament. The election saw another victory for the Royalists, this time under Harry Ford who had been Prime Senator since 1921. However his majority was shrunk significantly. The Democrats for the first time in their history failed to come either first or second in the election, loosing out to the Liberals. The Liberals continued to feed mostly off former Royalist seats, whilst the Socialists fed off some former Democrat strongholds. The Democrats managed a small gain of seats however, taking back from the Royalists what had previously been their strongholds prior to the war. The Royalists campaigned again under the theme of security, painting the Democrats as incompetent and the Liberals as inexperienced, unable to lead a nation. The Democrats campaigned under the theme of fairness, arguing that the Royalists had not been treating its citizens fairly enough with what it considered as harsh austerity measures, whilst the Socialists echoed this theme but also blasted the Democrats as not going far enough with reforms.
