After going through the Centennial Building, Murphy will be woken up by Howard Blackwood on a bench just outside the park, and the gate leading to Chastain Heights will be opened. There's a ladder hook located beside the fountain, as well as two Silent Hill artifacts: a child's kite, located on a bench beneath a street lamp, and a toy UFO (which is only available after completing the game once), and is required for the "Digging Up the Past" sidequest.
