RAX Coswell was one of the best kickboxers to enter The Cyberdome, but found himself lagging behind when cybernetics took over the game. A crime boss invested in him, paying for the modifications, but Coswell found himself on the losing end of a bet made by the criminal; when the man wanted a safe win to earn some money, he arranged for a virus to be implanted in RAX's armour. During a fight, the cybernetics self-destructed and RAX died.

  • RAX Coswell was one of the best kickboxers to enter The Cyberdome, but found himself lagging behind when cybernetics took over the game. Cyber-fighting continued without RAX, with technology increasing and the sport became even more competitive. When RAX returned with five other Eternal Champions, Cyber-fighting was put on hold to make way for the Cyber Challenge. Coswell put an end to this tournament, but also destroyed the controls allowing fighters to enter the arena. Angered that they had lost their chance in the ring, a team of Cyber-fighters attacked the Eternal Champions and prevented from reaching their destination. RAX remarked that the "rookies" weren't too tough (despite their claims), but were kitted out with top-flight technology. Realising that the guns they needed were grafted to the fighters' bodies, Trident ripped one off and the heroes fled back to Tokyo. Before activating the teleporter, RAX vowed to take the warriors on when he returned. Some time after the success of their first mission, Coswell was returned to his own time to be a Cyber-fighter once more. It is assumed that the virus was no longer in his system (perhaps thanks to The Eternal Champion) and RAX was able to prove himself the best once again.
