The Greer class corsairs were a type of starship on active duty in Starfleet during the 23rd century. (Starfleet Prototypes) In appearance, Greer class ships resembled Garneau-class vessels, albeit without a secondary hull or attachment pylons. Greers had a crew complement of 70. It's possible, given the lower registry than that of Garneaus, that the Greer class was the precursor to the Garneau and her sister ships. The name of only one vessel of this class has been revealed: USS Greer (NCC-472).
