- Emperor Zurg (also known as Evil Emperor Zurg or simply Zurg) is a recurring antagonist of the Toy Story franchise. He is the sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance and the archenemy of Buzz Lightyear, who first appeared in Toy Story 2, as the tertiary antagonist. He was first mentioned in Toy Story. He later became the main antagonist of the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command television series and it's movie: The Adventure Begins from 2000. He also appears in the credits of the 2010 film Toy Story 3 as one of the new toys being donated to Sunnyside Daycare. In the third film, he was originally going to be the main antagonist, but this was done to hide the film's true main villain.

After surviving the fall from the elevator, he redeems himself to spend time with his son instead of carrying out his mission to destroy him, as his intial intention.
