The World is Our Canvas is a course on creating art out of natural materials (eco-art), and building a creative community on campus. In each class we will focus on a different aspect of eco-art in a variety of environments. By making eco-art we will redefine and strengthen our relationship with nature, ourselves and our community. We will use our artistic creativity to strengthen our sense of self-sustainability, and our appreciation for the act of living, our art will reflect and teach us to see the importance of the sustainability movement. We are using eco-art as a tool of creative expression to further illustrate how to incorporate sustainability into our daily acts.
