The team has to solve the case while learning David Reeds is hired to be their CSI supervisor and shakes things up while helping them in the case of the slain DDA. 1.02 Freefall Reeds and the others probe the death of a skydiver; their clues lead them into the world of extreme skydiving. Helen and Faine probe the disappearance of a hotel heiress (Paris Hilton); Reeds and Kane investigate a murdered wealthy philanthropist, whose interest in cosmetics might have been her undoing. Paterson and Evern investigate the apparent suicide of a rude bellhop. 1.04 One Blood Drop The team must track down a killer, whose M.O. perplexes them; when he killed a female instructor, he leaves a single blood drop on the crime scene, but the blood doesn't match the victim; Meanwhile, David asks Tanya to move in with him, but uncovers a murder nearby his neighborhood. 1.05 The Strange Day of the Rich and Famous Evern, Paterson, and Kane probe the death of a rising young actor, whose life is cut short, but when they try to investigate his past they are going to be shock to know how his life quickly propel him to fame. David and Helen investigate the suspicious murder of a business tycoon and discover that all his clients are rich angry agents, who each has a vendetta. 1.06 The Love Dissection A family is threatened when a housewife is found brutally murdered nearby a fountain. Reeds and Faine are at odds when Faine believes the husband did it because of discovering the victims' dirty secret, but Reeds believes it was a close friend because her husband wasn't with her when she died; in order to prove who is right, Reeds must heavily examine the whole park in order to find the truth. Meanwhile, Helen and Paterson probe the strange death of a visiting plastic surgeon. 1.07 Wrong Makes Right A wrongly accused criminal, Nelson Parks (Aidan Quinn), wants a new trial prompting Tanya to request David and the other CSIs to reinvestigate the ten year old kidnapping and murder of a thirteen year old cheerleader. As the CSIs relook the evidence, Paterson notices something fishy with one clue that could change the entire landscape of a potential retrial. 1.08 Duck, Shuck, Goose The CSIs must track down a duck who could be the key to the mysterious murder of a duck handler known in California as "The Duck Whisperer". Meanwhile, David gets a strange letter from the still-at-large Blood Drop Killer. 1.09 The Crime Squad An ameatur CSI wannabe is found dead leading the real CSI team to probe his murder; and they realize he was participating in a group of other wannabe CSIs who call themselves the Crime Squad. However, when another one of the Crime Squad wines up dead, Faine and the CSIs deducts a former member is out for revenge. 1.10 Guilty (mid-season finale) David, Helen, and Paterson are called to probe the murder of a renowned artist; however they are shocked to see another blood drop. When it doesn't matches the victim, David realizes the Blood Drop Killer has return. Meanwhile, Kane, Evern, and Carlson are probing the disappearance of a child star and realize she left clues of why she left. 1.11 The Reel Life As the Blood Drop Killer still out in the city, Captain Pierce convinces David and Faine to focus on their current work until BDK reappears. David still feeling angry that he let BDK go; Helen and the others agree with Pierce and convinces David to help them solve the case of a fallen actor who was filming a movie in production. 1.12 Demon in the Streets When another victim surfaces with the BDK's trademark M.O, Dr. Black assures this has to be the work of the Blood Drop Killer. Hearing those words, David decide to find a way to learn the true identity of the killer, however, when two more bodies show up that didn't match the works of BDK, David struggles to believe BDK is fooling with him. 1.13 Blood Oath As the search for the Blood Drop Killer continues, the CSIs think their latest case of four victims drained of their blood could be related to the BDK; however, when the case gets stranger and stranger, the CSIs discovered a key piece of evidence...a document that each victim signed to give their blood away. Now the true question the team wants to know who has the victims' blood? 1.14 Engaged and Murdered A promising engagement between two popular musicians (Ray J and Megan Good) are rocked when the two stars disappear causing a huge media frenzy. The CSIs and Det. Faine must tread carefully, yet the case takes a sudden turn when one of them is found strangled, and the other still out there--who could be the killer. While David, Faine, and Kane probe the murder; Helen leads the others to track down the missing musician who knows the true answers. 1.15 Game Over David's obsession in trying to find the true location of the Blood Drop Killer is starting to affect his relationships with his team and his girlfriend, DDA Leeson. However, when yet another victim with another blood drop appears, the CSIs take notice that the BDK is starting to play mind games. Desperate to outfox the BDK, David's probe into all of the BDK's victims and that common factor suddenly leads him to a place that surprises everyone. 1.16 No More Control (season finale) The CSI's manhunt for the Blood Drop Killer--who they finally discover his true identity as Peter Bowden--is reach to new heights; as the team seek help from Dr. Black to truly understand Bowden's troubled past. However, Bowden takes his game to the next level when he starts to threaten each of the CSIs leaving David last. The team must protect one another as they try to stop Bowden before another victim appears. However, as the team do their best to learn Bowden's endgame, one of them will face mortal danger.
