The M6 Weapon/Anti-Vehicle Rifle, also known as the Grindell/Galilean Nonlinear Rifle, abbreviated M6 W/AV G/GNR and known informally as the Spartan Laser, was a directed energy anti-vehicle weapon used by the United Nations Space Command before and during the Swarm War. The M6 W/AV Rifle was produced in three variants; the 'A' variant, which was a man-portable, shoulder-fired anti-vehicle weapon, the 'B' variant, for use as an anti-vehicle and anti-aircraft armament for UNSC fighter craft, and the 'C' variant, for use as a main armament for armoured fighting vehicles.
