- Final Fantasy XIII is a rail gun shooter arcade game developed by Square Enix, who would later go on to rename themselves Straight Line Enix in honour of the game. It is the first Final Fantasy game to be released for the current generation of consoles and continues many of the series' traditions, such as music, freakish haircuts, comedy token black characters and lesbian fan fiction. The plot concerns Cloud Squall Mild Downpour Lightning and a quest to save her sister from being turned into a glass statue, whilst at the same time saving the world, rescuing chocobos who have been sold into slavery (who reward the player by becoming their slaves in turn) and desperately trying to perfect her "fuck you, I'm too cool to deal with your shit" face (see image on right).

- Final Fantasy XIII is the thirteenth game in the ball-crunchingly popular Final Fantasy series. The fal'Cie are a race existing beyond humanity. Those marked by the fal'Cie for a greater purpose are named the l'Cie (pronounced "luh-see"), each one given a special mission known as a Focus; failure to accomplish the Focus leads to the l'Cie transforming into a hideous monster. Success, on the other hand, leads to "eternal life" -- as a crystal statue. Centuries later, the Sanctum, in a paranoid action, now quarantines anyone who has been influenced by Pulse, and exiles them from the city.

- Final Fantasy XIII erschien am 17. Dezember 2009 in Japan und begeisterte die Fans von Jung bis Alt. Die Erwartungen die das Spiel erfüllen sollte, scheint durch aus gelungen zu sein. Die drei Jahre Entwicklungszeit zeigen sich in der Feinheit und den vielen Details, mit dem das Spiel ausgestattet ist. Auch die Grafik zeugt davon aus, das dieses Spiel in der Entwicklung sehr Zeit intensiv war. Mit jedem Final Fantasy-Teil erschufen die Macher aus dem Hause Square Enix immer eine neue Welt, mit neuen Charakter und einer Atemberaubende Geschichte. Genau dort, schließt sich Final Fantasy 13 auch wieder an.
