Nightwing encounters several police officers with abnormal strength and anger, tracing these to the drink Mega-Flex which many of them have been drinking. He confronts the maker of the drink, who refuses to take it off the market, but then destroys his equipment while fighting Nightwing. He also gets a lead on the new Tarantula's identity, and when he returns to his home, he is met there by the mercenary Deathstroke.
