| - Ellen Stagg (born January 31, 1978) is an American photographer specializing in fashion, celebrity and advertising. She is also the creator of an erotic art photography blog site that has increasingly gained in popularity since it's inception in 2007. Stagg was born in Easton, Connecticut, and lived a privileged, sheltered life of private schools and country clubs until moving to New York City in 1996. She attended the School of Visual Arts (SVA) and graduated with a BFA in Photography. Stagg currently lives in Brooklyn where she enjoys a bigger apartment and a backyard. Having lived in New York for over ten years, she considers herself a true New Yorker. During her Junior year at SVA, Ellen signed with her first agent. After five successful years with the same agent, Ellen moved on and within a year landed her first major ad campaign with [[Nixon Watches]]. She has since shot for magazines, look books, stock photo agencies and celebrities. Stagg's commercial work can be seen at . Since the age of 16, Ellen Stagg had a particular interest and fascination with erotic art. It wasn't until 2005, however, that Stagg began a focused and concentrated pursuit of erotic photography. Upon meeting erotic model and girl on girl porn star Justine Joli, Stagg started exploring new possibilities in the field of erotic photography. She began shooting numerous well-known porn, fetish and glamour models. The images were too artsy for porn magazines, and too porn-like for so called "erotic" publications and websites. With no exhibition outlet for her images, Stagg decided to start her own blog, . Stagg continues to do commercial work in advertising, fashion and celebrity photography while expanding the reach of staggstreet.com. Due to the word-of-mouth popularity and growth of staggstreet.com, the site is eventually going to be converted to a pay site, with photo books, gallery shows and a documentary slated for development.
