| - The Golden Destiny was a political faction of the Lost Tribe of Sith on the Wild Space planet of Kesh which had emerged during the Time of the Rot which ended in 3000 BBY. The faction was fixated with the stellar aspects of the Tribe's history and believed that the Tribe needed to reopen to the Kesh Sith Temple and return to the stars. The Golden Destiny also regarded the Tribe's founder Yaru Korsin as a "great conqueror" and believed that the Tribe's ancestors had been powerful people. Members of the Golden Destiny were distinguished by their golden tunics. In 3000 BBY, the leader of the Golden Destiny attended that year's fateful Pantheon's Peace, where the Testament of Yaru Korsin was read to the Tribe's leadership. During that Testament Day, the leaders of the Sith factions learnt that the Tribe's ancestors had actually been slaves of the Sith Lord Naga Sadow and were in fact not "special." These revelations shattered the Golden Destiny's beliefs about the Tribe's ancestors being part of a race of "powerful people." This Testament also triggered a series of violent riots known as the Great Crisis, which saw the various factions fight each other before disintegrating as individual Sith fought each other. Later, Edell Vrai, a young forward-thinking member of the Golden Destiny and a talented mathematician, joined forces with several of the faction's nominal opponents including Korsin Bentado and Neera]] to destroy the Omen, the ancient Sith starship which had brought the Tribe's ancestors to Kesh. These Sith were disillusioned by their knowledge of the Tribe's true history and saw the Omen as the last remnant of the Tribe's "inglorious past" which needed to be destroyed. However, the Caretaker and historian Varner Hilts stopped the Sith from carrying out their plan by revealing a map which confirmed the existence of another continent called Alanciar or "Keshtah Major". As a result, the Sith factions stopped fighting and elected Hilts as their new Grand Lord, ending the Time of the Rot. Edell was the first to pledge his allegiance to Hilts and later became his chief engineer who led the Tribe's efforts to reach and explore Alanciar in 2975 BBY.
