Back and in Attack was the third album by the pop vocal duo Milli Vanilli, to be released in 1998. On 2 April 1998, one of the lead singers, Rob Pilatus, committed suicide by a drug overdose. The producer, Frank Farian, cancelled the release. The songs recorded for the album, which was assumed to be complete at the time of Pilatus' death, were never made available to the public. The remaining member, Fabrice Morvan, pursued a solo career without the assistance of Farian.
