| - GNN--This just in, a sudden power surge has caused lights to flicker across the Bothan homeworld. A few fires have broken out from power spikes. The Cheese Snobs, and their director Albedo Raz'skol, have stated their intention to begin the tasting and pay no mind to this apparent surge. Petty, insignificant technological matters should not impact this old civilized custom! They have begun assembling in the forests near Epsilon Block for the tasting, which is said to involve some of the rarest and most expensive cheeses in the galaxy, illuminated by a splendid golden floodlight. Bothawui: Bothawui Spike Hotel - Lobby Beaten copper floors are just the least of the casual visitor's worry. Some call the Bothawui Spike a cruel Bothan joke at the expense of offworlders too rich and powerful to be treated with the usual Bothan contempt; it is sublimated, they say, into the form of a luxury hotel so extravagantly, savagely opulent that it mocks every guest with its diamond-on-onyx "constellation" ceiling domes, its forest of pillars in the shape of obsidian trees, its laminated repulsorlift doors richly painted with scenes of Bothan history by galaxy-famous artists, its Bothan bellhops, fur foppishly trimmed, wearing powdered wigs and thousand-credit breeches and silk ruffles so lavishly executed that they are a terror to watch flouncing around the hotel--few visitors ever leave the Bothawui Spike feeling anything but exhausted and overwhelmed, vulnerable to whatever slick business deals the Bothan Trading Company execs have in mind. Economy: This is a relatively prosperous hotel lobby. Items you can +get: Armor Plate <2x>Players: Things: Euphemia Bellamy BIA Security Group 2 [army] VIS Defence 1 [army] Obvious exits: [Repulsorlift] [Revolving Door] door into Epsilon Block. Draven chances the revolving door of the Hotel and rumors of garish interiors. Euphemia Bellamy sits in the hotel lobby, watching the holoscreen with a faint, bemused interest and frequently shaking her head. She has a tall glass of alcohol in her hand, and she is sipping it slowly. "Oh dear, these Bothans and their cheese." She speaks in a low voice, though, because of the Bothan security troops nearby. Draven strides through the door, a sly smirk on his face. Upon entering he surveys the area and notes Effie, to whom he bows, then waves to the members of the security group. "Good to see you fellows still in one piece and holding down the fort.. as it were." Draven chuckles lightly and heads towards Effie "You missed quite a show last evening." He says happily. "I made a new friend." Euphemia Bellamy raises her eyebrows, looking quite pleased or relieved to see Draven return. "A new friend?" she says. "Who's that?" Draven's grin widens tenfold, a very mischevious look comes over him, his eyes twinkling with what can only be described as a feeling that he is very pleased with himself "Sho'lar Vreeth." "Sho'lar Vreeth," Effie says with a gleam in her eyes of sudden amusement. "You don't say." Draven gestures around himself "This hotel is under his control, with no small credit belonging to yours truely.. It seems Gand of Gand was in ownership of it until a certain gunslinger let slip that said Gand was... Hutt scum." Euphemia's eyes flicker back to Draven and she smiles a secret smile. "Have we got a new ally in our great war?" Effie leans close, looking mischievous. She whispers to Draven. Draven listens carefully and after a moment whispers back. Effie's eyes glitter with mischief in them and she smiles at the compliment, whispering back--and then suddenly her eyes widen. "People keep coming to that cheese thing." Draven eyes the screen and frowns "I will never understand these customs, Not that I disagree with them.. jsut.. I am baffled." Leaning back, the man crosses his arms and rubs his brow as the fondue is prepared. He leans forward a moment later, however, in restlessness. The cheese softens, and Albedo dips the sliver of toast into the fondue, tasting it quietly. He bows to the other Bothans and leaves the platform. Another Cheese Snob steps forth, a grand old Bothan with perfectly white fur in a golden suit. The old Bothan ascends the stage, his hoary whiskers twitching as he moves, and dips a cracker into the cheese. He nibbles it with great dignity and then shuffles away, and another Bothan comes up. An awed hush has settled over the clearing. The Bothans move with the solemnity of ancient custom. Effie stares at the holoscreen, trying not to squirm in her chair. She looks away, clearly not getting the Bothan ritual. She says to Draven, "I wonder what they think of us, then." Draven ponders, "The educated and traveled Bothans seem quite at ease." He shrugs and asks, perhaps randomly, "How was your talk with Valen? Last I knew he deserted the cause, and good riddance." Coming in quietly from the direction of the City, a pair of sapphire eyes, a mildly alabaster and remarkably human expression turns deadpan. Nonetheless, the quiet-as-a-church-mouse human female observes the Cheese Snobs go about their fondue rituals, the gold suit of one of them catching her attention, wordlessly. The smell of cheese wafts through the brush, mixed with the scents of vine lilies. Through the jungle moves a dark cloaked man. Dark hair tops pale skin and icy blue eyes. He sees the festivities and makes his way closer. Maltorus Valen steps closer to the cheese festival and observes. He does not get too close as tensions with the Bothans may still be high. He merely stands and watches, like a good tourist. "Yes," Effie says, looking troubled, "and I think his loyalties still lie elsewhere, utterly. He hates the Jedi and will never accommodate them, which can be useful if we can channel and direct him; but if he is seen to be too obviously a minion of ours, then certainly we will have a problem, because he is ... polarizing. And we must fit in for a while." Another man drifts casually into the forest from the city, golden-haired and dressed in tan robes. Green eyes watch the festivities carefully, a bit of confusion in them as he watches the cheese these Bothans take so seriously; he glances at Jasmine idly, crossing his arms, not wanting to stray too close to the offended Bothans. Flicker. The golden floodlight begins to blink on and off as the seventeenth fondue-taster is dipping. The Bothan female pauses with her cracker in her mouth, taking a step back and peering at the floodlight. Then -- the flickering stops, and the gentle golden glow returns. Several Bothans sigh aloud with relief, and Albedo Raz'skol takes out a pair of large white cheeses and puts them on a table, cutting them with a knife. Draven nods slowly, "So you intend to use him..Be very careful, as I mentioned in days past.. The Jedi want him more than they ever will Seifer, and we both know how adamant they are about him.." Effie's lips compress, and she nods, leaning close again. Draven smirks, nodding. He whispers back Euphemia's golden eyes are bright, and she nods, whispering back. Draven laughs aloud "Yes, I can see that... boyish charm." Suddenly Albedo's whiskers snap to attention, and he peers out of the mass of the cheese snobs, out at the knot of -- humans? -- who seem to be waiting nearby. They are growing! Breeding before his eyes! He frowns, though oddly enough, he does not seem to frown at Jasmine. Probably because he does not notice her; his eyes skim over her as they skim over the Bothan cheese waiters in green livery. The man seated on the stump continues to lean forward, watching the ground before him. He taps his stick against a leaf, waiting quietly, before looking back towards Albedo and the people who have gathered in the distance. As Albedo seems to look over at the gaggle of growing humans, Jasmine shifts slowly, moving to the sanctity of shadow behind a cracked section of vined wall. She watches the floodlight carefully, looking left, then right, then back to the display. Effie looks with slowly narrowing eyes as she watches the holo feed. She says, "Draven, are you watching this? I have a bad feeling about it. Did you see that flicker? I swear the lights dimmed here, too. Anakin looks mildly uncomfortable, nodding at Jasmine. "Okay," he murmurs to words unheard, watching Albedo carefully and not moving. Draven nods, his attention now on the screen "It may be best we stay here, and watch... If anything goes wrong, we leave.. or I get us out." Flicker ... flicker ... ... out. Then a spark falls from the floodlight, and another -- tiny stars falling out of the darkness. The crunching of leaves can be heard underfoot near the vined wall that seals the city off to this wilderness, the snapping of a few vines as perhaps startled spectators try to grab onto something so they don't fall, or fumble over one another. One of the uninvited human onlookers to the Fondue Cheese Tasting (that probably wouldn't have ended if it weren't for the light going out) stumbles a bit before tripping over a thick, gnarled vine-- falling on her knees. Using the wall, Jasmine rights herself... but is utterly silent in the dark. Maltorus remains motionless, waiting to see if his eyes can adjust to the dim light. There is a cry of startlement and dismay, and a body strikes the stage. Another cries out-- Far off to the distance, in the city of the Bothans, a FLICKERING FLAME rises from a faraway tower. Great sirens begin to screech and scream, louder and louder, then fading, then louder and louder. Suddenly the sparks from the lamp start to pour out, flashing cyan sparks that fall at first in streams and then in showers, and where they strike the wooden floor they flare up, and where they flare up, the wood begins to glow, instantly converted to coals. A scream rises from the Bothans, and then another, and then a wailing chaotic clamor, as Bothans flee from the shorting lamp-- "Yes," Effie says with a frown. In the darkness, a stick tapping onto a leaf can still be heard. Its rhythm slows a little while the man on the stump waits, remaining rather quiet. His attention eventually turns skyward, to the flame in the distance, and then to the shower of sparks. Scowling, he reaches into his belt and produces a green gem, which shimmers in the darkness and lights the ground at his feet. Draven says, "That thing is going to burn up... My ship is in those woods."" All across Bothawui, the lights flicker again--and then, in the areas on the Main Power Grid, the lights go out. Moments later, there are flash fires across the city, where containment fields power suddenly down and toxic fuel makes contact with the oxygen. Anakin freezes in the dark, the flame in the distance illuminating his face for a moment, Anakin's eyes wide and lips pressed in a hard line. He stumbles through the dark, looking for the wall. There is a sudden roar, and the stage goes up in a flash of flames as a gust of violent air tears in. Albedo Raz'skol gives a cry of terror and flees, and the Cheese Snobs mill about in terror, leaving their cheeses everywhere and searching through suddenly unfriendly branches, through forest paths which by day were not sinister, but now by shadow are impenetrable, awful, masses of groping branches that snag and rip the fur, that cut the muzzle, that blind the eyes that run through too swiftly, spurred onward by terror! COMSYS: (all channels) A smooth, deep male voice says, "This is Admiral Loro of the Bothawui Navy to any emergency units that can recieve me, I need a fire suppression unit and medics at the Cheese festival immeditaly!" COMSYS: A soft female voice says, "Admiral..I am a medic..where should I report?" "I'm a doctor," she finally shouts, stumbling into a body and bumping back against the wall. "Call out if your hurt!" Jasmine shouts, groping between fabric of someone's poor raiment, and the vines on the wall. As the lights go out, Effie stares at the holoscreen, which is still bright. She says, "Draven, this place is running on generators. We're in luck. Do you want to stay here? Or--perhaps--turn on your com link and go there, and I will follow by comlink. Maybe these cams will come in handy." She changes the channel--sees another view--changes it again--looks excited. "Araaaa!" shrieks a Bothan voice. "Lisak!" "Askya!" "Feil! Feil'bot!" "Vash!" "Ara!" "Ara!" The Bothan voices clamor and shriek. Everyone is hurt, or thinks they are, as they swarm about in confusion, the crackle of branches drowned only by the roar of the growing fire. COMSYS: (all channels) A smooth, deep male voice says, "The Forest trails just outside of the capital." Draven nods calmly, "I will go. Perhaps I can help." He heads for the door, retrieving his com and activating it. "Draven!" Effie calls, throwing up her hand. Draven swings around "Yes?" Euphemia Bellamy grins suddenly, her eyes twinkling warmly. "Take your blasters." Draven pats his side "Always. But out of curiousity... why?" "I have a feeling you'll need them," Effie says. She looks calm. "But you will prevail." The little green gem is tucked away, and the man turns to his right. He focuses on someone in the distance, but looks away a moment later. Remaining seated, he watches the flames rush over the stage with a shake of his head. "How foolish," he laments. Jasmine starts to move, carefully, her eyes adjusting as the fire starts to roar. She takes off her coat, moving toward a sprig of fire that wends its way through a network of vines nearby-- threatening to set alight trees along the line of the wall. The doctor starts to try to put it out, trying to be careful not to fan it further. She stamps out a few hotspots near her feet, moving towards the first of the downed, Cheesy Bothans. Draven laughs "Of course." He slinks through the door and into the blackness. Anakin's eyes snap up, adjusting to the darkness and the flames. His eyes close for a moment, beads of sweat standing out on his forehead as he leans forward, fingers curling, struggling with all his might to hold the huge forest fire hazard up. "Help!" he shouts to Obi-Wan. Suddenly the lights come back on. Far too bright. There are no shadows in the city of the Bothans, and the lights are getting brighter. Those in space overlooking the planet will see the pulsating lights growing brighter and brighter in streams radiating out from the Civic Center. Those with knowledge of power grids will recognize all the signs of an overload in progress. Helping frightened Bothans up off the ground and ushering them in the direction of the City walls, Jasmine moves further and further toward the stage-- trying to get people up and off towards the safety of the gateway back. "Get up, go! Get out of here," she shouts, doing her best to pull the Cheese Snobs and their associated followers up, making sure they're steady, and sending them on their way. "Go! Quick!" bellows the doctor, coughing as a measure of smoke starts to pool in the now, still air. Hearing Anakin call out for help, looking forward to see the suspended lamp. "You!" Jasmine bellows at Raxan, waving him over toward her. "Quick, make sure these Bothans can get back to the entrance of the wall, back into the City!" COMSYS: (all channels) From Corellia: Viceroy's Office, A syrupy, smooth male voice says, "This is Director L'hnnar, RDLA, to all Republic and RDLA personnel on Bothawui: execute reroute plan Tango Niner Delta Delta Seven. I am currently en route." With a shrill cry Albedo Raz'skol goes bounding through the flaming clearing, his paws above his head, all sign of poise lost--a terrified mammel fleeing through the jungle in fear, shrieking into the night. Anakin grits his teeth, fingers and arms pulling with Obi-Wan as he tries to steady the light. "Someone turn it off!" He shouts, distracted by Valen's words and glancing over his shoulder, but not letting the light fall. COMSYS: (single channel) Euphemia Bellamy says, "You look great on the holofeed, Draven!" COMSYS: (single channel) A calm, smooth male voice says, "Of course I do." The light fixture slams into the trees. The elderly white-furred Cheese Snob who was the second to sample the cheese is the only Bothan who has quite kept his head amid the confusion. He calls out in a deep voice, "Bothenn! Bothenn! Arva'lya!" The Bothan looks up with fright and whimpers. "Up you go." says the man as he reaches down, trying to hoist the being up via an underarm hold, Draven /attempts/ to be gentle. Once the being is up Draven walks with it toward a safer spot then, making sure the being is balance he gestures into the woods "There is safety, or less danger anyway.. go." The man turns back to find others. "Get as many people out as we can! There's no time --" Anakin is interrupted by the thud of the tree, noting the bridge it forms. "That's only the way out," he says, pointing and looking to Jasmine. Maltorus turns as the log falls and something spurs in him. He pauses then suddenly he springs for the fallen log to move across it. The tangled thickets form a very poor escape route, it seems. If one starts down that way--well, the ground instantly turns chaotic, broken. Safety does not lie that way, but up the Forest Trail, and that is where most of the Bothans, and Albedo Raz'skol, flee. Frowning further, Obi-Wan looks to his left, at the log, and sighs. He raises his comlink. "The good /Maker/," Jasmine mutters, staring at the hobo helping to hold up the lamp, tersely. Espying Natalia, the woman blinks. "Natalia, can you help me get this guy? Fractured leg," she says, attempting to make some sort of traction splint so the women can attempt to move the brown-furred Bothan without as much pain as it would be, without it... Unchecked by Bothan security forces who run through the streets, rounding up offworlders as suspected terrorists, the surge continues, and the lights grow brighter yet. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "Legionares of Aequitas, cohort three, this is General Kenobi. Proceed immediately to the main generators of the Bothan City and shut them down. I repeat, shut them down. May the Force be with you." The forest provides a lot of hiding places normally and there is one that slips from the city and takes refuge from the chaos. Content for now to stay in the little shadows that are offered from the blazing lights of the city. "What's going on around here?" says Lex tensely, brushing past undergrowth onto the forest trail. ".... Oh..." is all he says, blinking as his gaze lifts up to the commotion and uproar. "The world's going to hell." he mutters darkly. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "Republic fleet, this is General Kenobi. Locate and target the main power generators. In one minute and twenty seconds, target them with turbolaser fire. I repeat, target and destroy them." Effie Bellamy sits in the lobby, watching the holofeed with a narrow, fascinated look. She seems rooted to the spot. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "All non-military personnel who are incapable of escaping the city by ship should proceed out of the city and into the wilds. If you are unable, hole up in safe, durable locations away from the civic complex." COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "General Kenobi, this is Trooper 47 of Aequitas 3. The power readings are spiking in the Civic Center!" Jai enters the place with a worried look on his face, his gaze returning again and again to the holofeed. "Glad I ain't out there." He comments to the woman. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "Shut it down, Legionare. I repeat, shut it down. And then get out of there." The white-furred Bothan cries out, "Wait! Wait!" in Basic. He steps forward, holding his paws up, and shouts out once more for attention. "WAIT!" Mal crosses the makeshift bridge and drops to the ground on the other side. There he stops. Once Zilana has joined him, he says, "I saw this place in my vision. The Dark One is leading us here. But why?" Anakin nods to Jasmine. "Catch up quickly!" he shouts, turning towards the log and hurrying -- pausing for a moment as he pauses to look at the white Bothan. Effie smirks and nods. "There are backup generators in here," she says, "and the structure's blast-shielded. I think we're fairly safe, but ..." She grins. "Not entirely." The target of his searching has been found and Chas slips from his hiding place and moves quickly through the brambles and to where Natalia is at. "You had me worried to death," he scolds her as he nods to Jasmine and fusses as he thinks a moment "It is better if I carry him," he tells them both. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "Legionare fourty-seven, this is Kenobi. Wait a moment." COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "General Kenobi, we're already in. Shall I hold?" Obi-Wan looks up at the white Bothan. "What is it?" he asks calmly. Looking at Raxan, Jasmine shrugs. "A surge caused the fire... whatever caused the surge, I've no idea... you should get up onto the log and start to go," she says, helping the Bothan with the busted leg up. "Up we go, onto the log," says the doctor, relief on her features at spotting Chas. The white Bothan gets her attention, with his Basic, waiting for him to speak with a cough of her own. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "There's a Bothan who seems to know something. Hold for a moment more." Kisaha Ontio finds his way out of the city and the chaos that's taking place there. He is his usual island of calm amidst so much panic from the fleeing Bothans. The robed figure continues on his way and, unless interrupted, moves rather deliberately into the wilderness and the great tree. His arms are held slightly aloft, suspending his billowing sleeves from the forest floor. The white-furred old Bothan holds up his paws for calm. "There is a shut-off switch! But it's ray-shielded with a dead man's timer!" Nodding his dreadlocked head, Jai asks. "What's causing this stuff..?" His hand waves at the feed. "Does anybody know?” "Well look at the party," Effie says with a laugh, nodding at Jai. "There are Duros there ... there are Jedi ..." She laughs shortly. "Damned if I know. I'm just enjoying the show." Kenobi nods his head towards the old Bothan. "Where is it?" he asks, striding forward. He raises his hand towards Kisaha, nodding to the taller sentient, before focusing on the old fellow again. Maltorus closes his eyes and attempts to sense something more. But the strong emotions of the Bothans and the turmoil surrounding them clouds his vision. He reopens his eyes and he scans his surroundings. "Remember your vision? You said that you were told to seek the hard path. I was told to lead the enemy astray." He pauses and points toward the makeshift bridge. "That way looks to be the more difficult of the two passes through this portion of the jungle." He looks to her to see if she agrees. "In the Civic Complex," the white-furred Bothan says. "But the security systems are Triple-Paranoid." Jasmine listens, looking around. "If you're good with explosives, speak up! Hotwirers, bomb techs, shout out!" the doctor requests, as the hobo finds out the location. "We had a Mon Calamari upgrade them 34 years ago," the white-furred Bothan adds grimly. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "Legionare forty-seven, there's a shut-off switch with a ray shield. It has a dead man's timer and is in the civic complex. Can you see it?" The bald pilot's eyes continue to wander over the chaotic area, before finding familiar figures. He makes a dash to Anakin and Jasmine. "What's going on here, Skywalker, Jasmine? I just woke up, and the whole city's crazy.. Well. More crazy than before." he asks, baffled at the apparent disorder and pandonium. "I'm... familiar at tech-things." he answers slowly, unsure of the purpose of the question. COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "I'm getting shielding readings from the Security Office complex. We've secured the area, and the Bothans have fled. Shall I enter?" With a struggle Chas nearly picks up the Bothan, but the broken leg and his size only allows him to take most of his weight. He quickly, as quickly as one can, begins moving the fellow in the indicated direction. "You two," he tells Natalia and Jasmine "Lead the way." But as Jana calls out he looks to her "I know bombs," he tells her as he continues to help the Bothan. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "It's triple-protected. Let me see if I can obtain the codes. If you think you can spike it, tell me." King Ontio acknowledges Kenobi's gesture, but also seems to recognize that the Knight is a bit preoccupied. He continues to move forward and past certain individuals, stating to Anakin as he does, "Come along, Master Skywalker. You and I have things to do before anything should happen to the forest." The situation in the city seems to concern him not a bit beyond the potential impact it might have on the wilds, and for once, he does act with a bit of haste. "Would you be willing to take someone to the City if there's no one there who can help disable it?" Jasmine asks the Bothan, wiping soot off her face. "Lex! Good..." Jasmine waits, to see if either someone in the City can set about disabling that switch-- or if the Bothan might take Lex there. COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "We can blast it open, sir. The door looks like common plasteel." Kenobi nods towards those who speak with the Bothan. "Can you tell me its codes?" he wonders. He glances up towards Kisaha and Anakin, then sighs slightly. Anakin's gaze narrows on Ontio and he nods slowly, glancing at Lex. "I have to go. You'll be safe with Jasmine ... everything is chaotic right now." He looks to Jasmine for a moment, communicating silently, and then turns towards the log, jumping onto it and into the maze. The white-furred Bothan looks somber. "I would consider it my duty!" he says when Jasmine speaks. "Bothenn arva'lya!" To Obi-Wan, he gives a helpless look. "I do recall the override codes from 32 years ago. I am retired, young human." Euphemia's eyes glitter with a malicious charm as she looks at Jai. "Pretty exciting, isn't it?" she says, pushing a button and windowing the screen into four. "The Bothan HoloCams have gone crazy and they're streaming all over." COMSYS: (single channel) A calm, smooth male voice says, "Are you safe and secure? I imagine you are waching and hearing what is transpiring..?" "What.. what does technician skills have to do with anything?" asks Lex, still assessing the situation. Maltorus turns to her and smiles. He then sees others working their way across the tree trunk. As they draw near he yells out. "I have found a path for the Bothans to take that seems safe and should lead them safely away from the city." He points toward the River. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "Blow the door. Assess the situation. If you can't reach the switch.. blow the generators. Be aware that several civilians are on their way to assist." COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "Yes sir. " There is a momentary flicker in the eery brightness. There is also a plume of green flame from the city. "Exciting... It'll only be exciting if I see one of them jedi trip and fall head long over a cliff." Jai replies. You say, "Maybe they will ..." "I hope so." Jai mutters. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "Lord L'hnnar, I have ordered several men of Aequitas to shut down the main power generators inside the city. It's all chaos, Viceroy. Send in disaster relief teams and prepare for tragedy." Kenobi looks at Raxan and nods. "Go to the spaceport and get airborn, Lieutenant. If you can't stand running from a fight, help the wounded." He sighs. "Farewell." He moves deeper into the forest. Anakin leaps over the log and lands deftly on his feet, finding himself in a veritable den of wolves. His eyes settle on Kisaha and he smiles a ferocious little smile, ready for anything. "If you want to radio back to the clearing that there's a safe path, do so, but it seems like most of them have already headed down to the forest trails." He glances at Kisaha, frowning slightly. "I feel a pull towards the bridge ... the most difficult path is most often the best." COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "This is Kenobi, I need to focus on something else. Legionare forty-seven, report to the Viceroy. May the Force be with us." "No no, if it's a deadman's switch, it's a matter of disarming it..." she says, eyes widening as the man condones what's technically considered to be terrorism. "We should go. Either over the log, down the forest trail, or back into the City. Whoever's going into the City, I'll go with. But we should probably get to going, and now..." COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "" The white-furred Bothan begins to move toward the city, the flames glowing in his dark, determined eyes. Jai points at the screen, before the image chances. "Whose the albino?" "Who?" Effie says, frowning. "Who are you talking about? The Bothan with white fur? He's probably just ... old." "There is no time for delay," the white-furred Bothan says with studied dignity. "Stay safe, Natalia, Chas, everyone," Jasmine replies, following after the white-furred Bothan quickly, with Lex. Shrugging his shoulders, clueless, Lex follows after Jasmine. "You seem to forget that we of the Sith follow the Dark Side, and so too did those who built this shrine," notes Ontio. "The most direct path, the path of least resistance. Keep in mind what I recently told you about opening your mind." Jai squints at the screen, then shrugs. "Maybe, I can't tell age with most aliens." Chas looks at Natalia and shrugs as the wounded Bothan is helped to safety "Guess they don't need a lockpick nor a skilled explosives person." "What's wrong with splitting up?" Anakin asks mildly, though his eyes flash. "Fine, we do it your way, Ontio. But we do it my way next time." His hand strays to his lightsaber as he walks past, towards the easy path without a word. "Is there no way to make this stop on a single feed?" Jai asks suddenly. Maltorus eyes Anakin with mild disdain and then looks to the other refugees starting to move across the massive log. "Quickly everyone, down the river. There will be no danger from the jungle and it will lead you away from the danger of the power generators. "I don't know!" Effie says, frowning, her eyes narrowing a little. "I'll try!" she says. She pushes buttons. "It worked?" Jai asks. Draven returns from his assignment, a smirk on his face. Kisaha Ontio follows after Anakin, calmly resolute in his choice of path. "I applaud your willingness to negotiate," he states, "in light of Kenobi's reticence. Another quality which shall help you to surpass him, I should dare say." Euphemia Bellamy's eyes widen as the Duros mocks the Jedi, and she claps her hands together. "Why, that's delightful," she says. It is good to see the Jedi mocked sometimes. Jai points after the people who left. "Can we follow them?" Draven says, "Mocking Jedi are we? What fun!"" Maltorus remains near the end of the log, acting like a traffic cop, pointing those coming along toward the river. He glances to the leaving King and Jedi before tossing a sideward look to Zilana. Anakin pulls up, falling silent as his eyes settle on the huge pink furry thing, eyes narrowinnslightly. "Like you said before," he murmurs to Ontio, "what is protected is most likely to be our goal ... is it not? " Chas eases the wounded Bothan along. He looks back to the city before proceeding. Something leaps suddenly off the log and into the forest, moving like a wild animal. The vague form of a human continues on towards the Muddy Ford. Euphemia chuckles slightly, pointing at the feed. "They've gone into some kind of ... forested maze," she says. "Everything goes pretty crazy out there." Mal suddenly moves toward the bridge while there is a break and no one will see him. Ontio continues up the river, not even paying any mind to the monstaba. "When guarded by turrets," acknowledges the king, inclining his head slightly. "That, on the other hand, is a mindless beast. It most likely protects a lair, nothing more." There is a vast beast slumbering nearby, blocking all forward movement. It yawns and wheezes in its sleep. Jai briefly eyes the newly arrived human, nodding, before returning his attention to the screen. The Jedi Knight frowns, glancing back at Ontio. Still taking no precautions, Chas pulls forth his weapon, leaving the Bothan to lean on a tree as he does. "Better safe than sorry," he mutters. Draven raises a brow "See, I had a feeling that going into those woods would get them lost.." He eyes Euphemia with a grin "Did you send me into the woods to get lost?" The Jedi Knight frowns, glancing back at Ontio. "It may not be as mindless as you think. Perhaps it protects because it has something /to/ protect. No need to underestimate it." He pauses, shrugging. "But it can't hurt to head into the clearing. We can always come back." He begins to walk towards the clearing. Effie shakes her head, staring into the holoscreen with a grin on her face. She holds up her comlink. "Too bad none of these fools are talking to me." Draven nods "A pity.." Effie grins a little. "Should I pay Maltorus a comlink call? Would that be a good idea, or a bad one?" Draven shrugs "I suppose that depends on how he will behave." "You are still thinking like a Jedi," retorts Kisaha, lifting a staying hand toward Anakin. "The Jedi teach you to always embrace the past of greatest resistance. Always swim against the tide, always struggle for every gain." He spreads his hands indicatively as he walks along the river, following its course. "We of the Dark Side embrace a more direct course. Rather than doing battle with this beast, we shall simply move past it. The Force has given us an opportunity, and it is meant to be seized." The woman's hands settle on the surface below, and she pushes her body back up again. Looking down into the recess she pauses, hands lifting to adjust her hair, and exhales sharply at the doom narrowly escaped. Chas motions to Natalia to help the wounded Bothan "Take him, I will provide a guard." and with that Chas slips into the underbrush to conceal himself. Anakin smirks, a half-smile floating across his face. "So the Sith are masters of laziness?" The Knight retorts. "Working harder often leads to better results." He pauses for a moment, his eyes closing and the smile disappearing from his face. His eyes open, a sigh escaping him. "I've got a bad feeling about this," he murmurs to himself, setting off towards the open clearing -- giving the pink monster a wide, wide berth. Effie's eyes widen with fiendish amusement. "Oh! Two trapped on a ledge," she says sweetly, "and one in a tar pit. It beggars the imagination!" Maltorus looks at the boulder and smiles maliciously. He moves to it and pushes it with all his might. Draven looks on, wide-eyed "Glad I came back, I guess." Effie's eyes gleam brightly and she takes out her communicator. COMSYS: Euphemia Bellamy says, "Are you going to drop a boulder on that woman?" "Blast!" says Effie. "Blast! I can't get through." Draven says, "His comm off?" King Ontio doesn't appear terribly offended by Anakin's mocking jest. Then again, going by his face alone, he doesn't appear to feel much of anything. "Working harder often leads to failure," he explains. "Some of your Jedi will spend their entire lives working to master a single technique of the Force. They will dedicate themselves in the traditional way; meditation, introspection, study. Meanwhile, a follower of the Dark Side will take the more direct path." He steps over a rock before continuing. "Seek out the knowledge, study it, and be done. Bend the Force to your will, rather than bending to it." "It's on," Euphemia Bellamy says with a bite on her lip, "but there's interference!" Draven nods, his gaze never leaving the screen. Slipping from the little cover that there is, Chas makes his way back to the river from watching the Monstaba. He glances at Anakin "We have to help her," he says. "Are you still planning to take the easiest path now that we know it's a tar pit?" Anakin murmurs to Ontio. He nods to Chas. "She needs to answer ... what's the situation?" Kisaha pauses, turning to face Anakin. His reply to the question is simple. "Would you rather face a tar pit," he asks, "or that?" The robed monarch's left hand strays, gesturing toward the monstaba. A bit of emphasis upon the teeth and claws, naturally. A bit frantic "She says she is sinking..." he answers. His eyes go between the Jedi and Ontio "You two, you use the force and save Natalia then. Stop the arguing and do something with it." "All the elements of human drama," Effie says in wonder. "I feel so sorry for her." Chas cries out "She is going down save her," he all but yells as he hears the comsys. "The monstaba," Anakin says with a half-smile, growing serious and nodding to Chas. "Come on, Ontio. Your easiest path it is." He breaks into a cautious run, heading into the clearing. Draven nods, "Just like a holo-soap, almost brings a tear to my eye." Chas, a very worried expression keeps his rifle trained on the Monstaba as he protects the Bothans that have gathered at the river's edge. Furtive glances to the area where he last saw Natalia head only serves to increase his worry. The boulder is unmoved at first, then it slowly edges over and finally goes crashing down into the valley below. Maltorus looks around to see if the movement of this rock has revealed any way down for them. Anakin sees the tarpit and runs towards it, intent on rescuing Natalia -- only to hear a snap of several branches. He digs his heel into the ground, unable to avoid it as the boulder strikes his leg and knocks him to the ground. King Ontio follows calmly after Anakin. When the Jedi tumbles in his attempt to avoid the falling boulder, the monarch even goes so far as to offer him a hand in standing up. "What we seek is very near," explains the Dark Lord, "but I can assure you that it does not rest in there." He nods toward the tar pit. Effie's eyes are glued to the feed, and she stares at it in rapt fascination. "This is stupendous! Watch them go! I wonder who will win!" she cries, biting her nails. Draven smirks "I win, I opted to come back to the city and not trapse through the brush.. all buggy and.. boulderific." Jai casts a side glance at the woman beside him. "All sorts.." The smile is returned. "Yes, quite tragic actually." Still, the man searches. Euphemia is grinning broadly now as she sees Jana fall into the tarpit, she claps her hands gleefully together. "How wonderful!" Draven on the otherhand seems mildly distressed "That is going to make sis angry.." Chas quiets one of the injured Bothan that cries out in pain. As if the noise might waken the sleeping Monstaba. Forget the yelling he did earlier. He motions to a Bothan "Aid him as best you can, but keep him quiet for now." Again he looks to the open Clearing, not able to see anything. So he looks back at the Monstaba. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, young male voice says, "We need a rope down here in the clearing!" Draven says, "Or not... she seems at home in the muck."" COMSYS: (all channels) A male voice says, "This is Chas, I can see what I can come up with and bring you what I can find." Euphemia darts a worried look at Draven. "'Sis'? She hates me, you know." Sho'lar Vreeth moves into the Spike Hotel, eyes looking around. He's already done with his cheese, now, he's seeing what else is going on. Spotting some of the people inside, The Bothan ponders his words before speaking. "Interesting..." He calls out. "A meeting of the minds, is it? Anakin's lightsaber leaps to life in his hand, swung deftly towards a branch and lopping it off the tree. The blade disappearing into the hilt once more, he hurries towards the edge of the pit with branch in hand, offering the end to Jana. "Pull!" he says, tugging on it against the pull of the tar. Draven nods, "She hates me too, for obvious reasons.. you are after all my closest friend.." Chas enters the area and he has no rope but does have some lengths of vine "This is the best I can come up with," he tells then as he looks around. Euphemia, seeing Sho'lar, crooks her finger. "Come and see this holofeed, my dear." Anakin's lightsaber leaps to life in his hand, swung deftly towards a branch and lopping it off the tree. The blade disappearing into the hilt once more, he hurries towards the edge of the pit with branch in hand, offering the end to Jana. "Pull!" he says, tugging on it against the pull of the tar. Finding a nearby seat, Jai slumps into it, dreadlocked head rolling back so that he can watch the feed with minimal effort. Every now and then he makes some comment to himself, muttered under his breath. Effie's hands ball into fists as Zilana Luce and Maltorus Valen disappear. "No! The camera can't see!" she says, pushing buttons to try to correct it. But it won't follow them any further. "There aren't any channels streaming from out there!" Draven grins at Sho'lar and waves "Your newly acquired establishement seems to be the safest place on the planet." "There's a path open," Anakin agrees, not yet mentioning the little object he slipped into his robes. He wipes sweat from his brow, tossing the branch aside. "You can thank me later," he mutters to Jana and Natalia, smiling slightly and then turning. "Let's go, Ontio. Business to conduct..." He sets down the path without a word. Something jumps forward, moving swiftly in the forest. "There's no more feed to be had?" Jai enquires. Chas goes to both Jana and Natalia, relief evident on his face as he looks from one to the other. The vines he has are tossed aside, a hand gently wipes some of the gunk from Natalia's forehead. With a motion to the path "Seems Anakin and Ontio have gone down that path there..." "Not after this point!" Effie says, grinding her teeth. Jai waves a gloved hand at the screen. "Can't you force the cameras to go inside... or something?" "I can't make them go anywhere," Effie says irritably. "What do you think I am, some kind of slicer? Mister Vreeth," she says, "I wonder if you'd call in some favors and make the hovercams move? Surely you know some people!" Chas motions with his head back to the Ford "And something tells me not to trust that think out there, shall we go?" He steps aside letting them get completely out of the tar and then he will lead the way back. "You're the one with the remote." Jai snaps. "I can't see if it has a 'move-camera' button on that thing or not." Euphemia Bellamy throws the remote at Jai irritably. "Here you go!" The dreadlocked man barely manages to catch it. It's a wonder he does, caught off guard. Turning the remote over, he eyes the buttons, then shrugs. "Huh." Players: Things: Anakin Skywalker [armed] Bothan HoverCam 2 Maltorus Valen [armed] Sith Container [structure] Kisaha Ontio [Treacherous Ledge] towards Muddy Ford. [Dense Foliage] towards Open Clearing. [Hole Out] "What did you do?!" Effie demands, glued to the screen again, eyes wide. "I am not here to fight you, Skywalker. I used my weapons for light in the darkness." Valen does not, however, lower his weapon for now. "Let us explore this ancient place together." As the key is dropped, Mal glances to Zilana. "Move away from the box and lower your weapon. I will do the same and we shall seek out this mystery together." "Wouldn't you like to know." Jai replies, all smug, though he has no idea how it happened either. He puts the remote one side and resumes his watching. Draven says, "Interesting..." "Maybe I'm here to fight you," Anakin says, his eyes narrowed. "You do not have the same luxury as Ontio has, of not being a criminal. We have unfinished business to discuss, Valen." The blade lifts away from Zilana and the box as she places the key, and he only nods. "Cooperation," he says finally, turning to the box. Draven says, "I feel as if a battle is coming... once those two are out of danger.." Richard Tan chances the revolving door of the Hotel and rumors of garish interiors. Euphemia steeples her fingers. Her eyes are glued still, and she watches rapt, grinning. She glances at Jai once, then smirks and looks back to the screen. "I hope they attack the beast," she says, pointing at one of the feeds. "It'll be exciting, if pointless ... poor thing." Maltorus lowers his blade but keeps it in hand. "It seems fair that the Sith should receive the Sith related items and then you may see to the rest." Anakin smiles viciously. "It seems fair that I cut your head off where you stand. Every object in there is going to be Sith related, you fool. You think I can let you take them all?" "Sith are real?" Jai says out loud to no one in particular. Draven says, "Yeah...uhh, but do you know what that word means?"" Draven shrugs. "Something to do with bugs," Effie says with a faint smile, though she knows better. Draven nods, a smirk. "Really? Huh" Jai makes a little face. "The boogeymen from the stories are named after a bug..." Maltorus raises his blade again, but does not advance. Instead he waits. Who or what he waits for is unclear. Chas gives Natalia a worried glance as she retells the story to Jana. He offers her a smile of encouragement, a single nod, and goes back to watching the monstaba. "No," Ontio interjects, shaking his head. "The statuette is not open for negotiation, Master Skywalker. You may have all else that you requested, but not that." Effie looks irritated. "Aren't they going to fight?" she says, before something in another split-screen catches her attention and she hisses angrily. "It was the Brood that raped Alderaan," she says sharply. "We conducted ourselves like gentlebeings." Jai leans forward eyeing one of the feeds. "They oughta jus' cut that murderin' scums head off and take whatever is in there." Effie leans forward, nodding rapidly in her agreement. "Yes, yes," she says, "it seems very unfair for him to do this ... but ..." She frowns. "But he did kill my uncle, and for that I am thankful." "Yes," Anakin says simply, a goading little smile flashing across his lips as the lightsaber veers closer... Chas looks back over his shoulder to the pair of humans in the midst of the Bothans. "She saved my life there, on Alderaan," he says. Then listening to Natalia he nods for they have had this talk before. Euphemia Bellamy fumes suddenly as Natalia speaks in her splitscreen now. "No!" she snaps. "You fool! I invaded Alderaan to threaten Coruscant! That ended the war!" "As I said, it is a piece of our history," replies King Ontio. "Imagine finding the first Jedi lightsaber or another relic of equivalent worth. It is the same for us. He glances toward the box, explaining, "More so, in fact. This statuette is the key to our future. I have tried to remain civil about this, but I am afraid that I cannot afford to take any risks with the game you play." Draven nods, "They will never understand the lengths you went to to savel lives Euphemia. Not even our own officers understand.." Richard Tan walks into the Bothawui Spike Hotel and looks around at all of the activity. Witht he way ships are stuck ont he planet, things are kind of on edge, but Richard is just goign witht he flow and not saying much. As he enters, he looks aorund and ponders what to do and where to go. Than he hears the holofeed, and goes to see what is goign on and enters the area looing at everything. Effie's mouth opens and she stares as lightning streams from the Duros's finger tips, she is not paying attention anymore to Natalia, but only staring. Seeing the flicker as Richard Tan appears in the corner of her eye, she motions, "Look! Look! Look at that!" Richard Tan looks and blinks, "...." Wha tis this? Some new Holomovie?" he asks as he has no idea what is going on. Draven says, "Live feed of a bunch of force users have a tantrum."" Maltorus springs forth with a swipe toward the distracted Jedi. The ancient black blade hissing through the air. Jai leans forward, smiling widely and hungrily. "Gi' it to him!" "This is reality," Effie says with a mad glitter in her eye. "But I assume all this is recording, my friends. I have to assume we are seeing them having it out for real." A figure in a long coat steps out of the shadows. Effie watches the newest development, her eyes narrowing angrily. "Another Jedi. See how they all gang up? -- She turns her head, peering, as someone shows up to destroy the pink beast. Chas watches the other, the safety of his rifle makes the softest of clicks as it is released. Jai's eyes dart back and forth, though they remain on the jedi battle more than any other feed. "I think I hate Jana," Effie says suddenly. "Sorry, Draven." Draven shrugs, "No matter to me.. she is not blood . She looked up to Agrippa like a father figure, me like a brother.. nothing more. Jai's eyes narrow a bit. "Makes me wish I was there to see this in the flesh." "Well, then," Effie says spitefully, "I really loathe her. Turning that woman against me. It is a hate-fest, isn't it? 'Do not fight evil ... absorb it!'" Draven says, "She became angry with me when I chose the Black ways... we share nothing but traded veiled threats." Draven says, "I also hope this recent admission does not change our relationship..." "She is a hateful person," Effie says angrily. "Hiding behind self-righteousness. All lectures and lies." "Around and 'round," Obi-Wan says, looking towards Ontio. He poises his lightsaber, then makes to swipe it straight through the Duros' chest! The soft hum of the saber slices through the air, lighting a small amount of space around it. Euphemia Bellamy turns to Draven, smiling a little. "Agrippa was admirable in a way," she says, and then a flash of light draws her eyes back to the screen. "So many laser swords! I want one!" "Get in line lady." Jei mutters from his seat. "I want something that they won't cut through." Draven nods "Yes, he taught me what not to do when faced with a light saber weilding foe.. namely do not insult them further,,, if nothing else he was stubborn." "Yes," Effie says calmly. "What I do is simple: leave. And come back with a fleet." You say, "And Amalfiel!" Draven nods, "Where is our finely groomed firend anyway?" Euphemia Bellamy watches the feed, frowning a little. "He disappears, sometimes for months. He is very sad now with Xibril gone. He says the world is empty and lonely and cold ..." Draven nods "I suppose. So long as he keeps appearing when we need him, I guess I cannot complain." "Now chop his head off" Jai shouts at the screen. Effie stares as Maltorus strikes the Jedi's lightsaber out of his hand. "I had no idea Maltorus could be so ... well ... effective," she admits with a little laugh. The statuette rises from the container and is spirited through the air, coming to rest in Ontio's waiting left hand. The matter would be finished for him, if not for Kenobi's intervention. Ontio's right hand flinches and a lightsaber hilt falls from his billowing sleeve, activating. With the reflexes of a fencer, he intercepts the incoming blow and turns it aside. "Forgive me, Master Kenobi," he says, "but I have already tarried here too long. I have that which I came for." Lifting his voice, the monarch declares to the others nearby, "Let us be on our way!" Draven nods, but he does venture to say "My credits lie on Skywalker and the General..." Draven says, "Only because they are stubborn" "But the Sith seem to be winning," Effie says with a frown. "Still ... I don't know. I am ambivalent. I know the woman, I think." Effie raises her comlink again as she sees the woman rapidly moving through the forest maze. Her eyes are bright and angry. "Hey! Look out!" she shouts into the comlink. "Huh. Guess that guy thought he couldn't win..." Jai mutters as the king does an outrageous leap. You say, "Damnation! Out of range!" Jasmine takes in the faces gathered there, especially the ones unknown to her, boots echoing throughout the decaying hull. Her eyes rest on Skywalker a moment, then Obi-Wan, before Valen and the woman whom she hasn't yet had the pleasure of meeting, Luce. Jai snorts at the sneaking man. "This'll be fun." "He snuck past the monster!" laughs Effie. "Clever bastard." She narrows her eyes. "Get him, Maltorus." COMBAT: Maltorus Valen's red lightsaber is struck from his hand and deactivated. Draven continues to gawk at the screen, transfixed. Richard Tan ha been watchign the scene, honestly and is getitng something to drink and returns, "So, anything new?" he asks. Kenobi turns and watches Ontio leap into the air. "Impressive." He lowers his weapon and reaches out with his hand, towards the stricken lightsaber. It obeys his call and leaps up into his hand. "And so the tide changes," he says. "Do not try to escape, Valen, Luce. I will order the Republic Fleet to destroy your vessels if you attempt it." Jai points at the screen. "Jedi fight. People usin' there head and runnin... nothin major." Effie is grinning, but her eyes are narrow and a little cold. "The Jedi, with all their usual meddlesomeness." Having his weapons stripped from his hand, Maltorus quickly reaches both of his hands into the box to grabs at a red crystal and a data crystal. Whatever he is able to grab, he grips tightly and calls upon the force to allow him to move with speed beyond the capacity of a normal human to speed back up the path to the dangerous jump and move across it. After that he disappears into the jungle where he stows away on a ship bound for parts unknown. "Helpfulness." Jai corrects, enough sarcasm dripping from his voice that you could sweeten a whole loaf of bread. "They just helpin'." Richard Tan nods, "So, nothing new than," he says to them as he looks and watches. Anakin reacts quickly, shifting his weight and flashing the lightsaber at the man's legs, hoping to take them out from under him as Valen attempts to take the crystal. Slapping the arms of his seat, producing a loud sound of flesh on wood, Jai makes one loud teeth sucking noise. "I wanted to see some jedi death. Huh. I'm going to sleep." And so saying he lets his head roll to the side and his eyes, in due time, fall close. The blue lightsaber hisses out of existence, Anakin sighing and calming himself, replacing the lightsaber on his belt. "Splendid," Effie says quietly. "The Jedi will have other things to worry about than making fun of us, Draven, and we can actually do some good." Draven nods "Indeed, They'll be on the hunt for days, if not weeks." Obi-Wan watches the Sith escape, then walks slowly towards Turok's lightsaber. He kneels and picks it up, then flicks the switch on his own weapon. The blade hisses, then ceases to glow. "Alas," Kenobi laments. "Once more they have gained more than us. But they didn't take the biggest prize of all." Wordlessly, and better for the lack of words-- such is her ire right now-- Jasmine turns back the way she came. "We disabled the generator, Knight Skywalker," she says, though it's perhaps clear her ire isn't directed at the Jedi Knight. Anakin sighs heavily, collecting himself and following Jasmine. Obi-Wan watches the Sith container for several minutes, then inhales calmly. He turns his head, then looks up into the hole. He raises his comlink as he moves forward. There is a small EMP surge across the Bothan city, which wipes active unshielded media devices' caches. BothanNet data feed lost. COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "I'm not sure. There are many people in the forest in need of help." Euphemia is laughing slightly, leaning back in her chair, and watching the holofeed, drinking. Her cheeks are flushed. "What a show." Draven nods, "And we were front row, and hold all the information." "Indeed we do," Effie says with a small grin. "Indeed we do. Amazing, really, what we know now. And I never thought Maltorus had the ... what is the word? Infernal gall! To drop a rock on a woman. Hah. Served her right." COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "Renegade's Eye, Akurel here. I think I've stumbled on something very large and pink guarding a crashed vessel....it doesn't look friendly. Please advise?" Draven grins, "We shall definately use this to our advantage." COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "Muddy Ford, Forest Maze. I don't think theres anything on fire here, but theres a very old ship in the distance. It hasn't attacked yet, but it seems to be drooling acid. Also, very fat and pink." COMSYS: (all channels) Euphemia Bellamy says, "That is a Gargantuan Monstaba." COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "Read, the big and hostile looking thing. The ship to my knowledge is neither pink nor fat" COMSYS: (all channels) A deep male voice says, "Affirmative, Renegade. Any further requests? I'm feeling a burning desire to be useful, and barring torching gigantic pink blobs was there anything you had in mind?" COMSYS: (all channels) Euphemia Bellamy says, "You should attack the Monstaba." COMSYS: (all channels) From The Vigilant, A calm, soft male voice says, "Find the men of Aequitas Cohort Three and meet General Kenobi there. Leave the beast alone." Draven raises a brow "You playing with thme now, my friend? "A bit of a little mischief-maker, I am," Effie says thoughtfully, and winks. "How bad of me!" Draven tsk tsks, making the 'shame on you' motion with his index fingers "Do more, chaos is my drug." "More chaos?" Effie says winsomely. Her eyes are bright. "But that would just be wicked. Anyway, I'm very impressed with the night's show. I think I will depart from Bothawui on the morning, to prepare to ratify my treaty." COMSYS: (all channels) A calm, soft male voice says, "To all citizens and visitors of Bothawui, this is General Kenobi: a shuttle will be leaving for Coruscant. Make your way to the Spaceport if you are without transport and you will be taken to a refugee area." Draven nods "I as well, I have security to brief on Paxo after all... some sort of ceremony going on soon, after all. Effie grins. "We're going to light a giant 100-meter torch," she says. "It will be stupendous!" Draven says, "Outstanding!"
